energy sources

Should people be required to use fluorescent light bulbs? My answer is yes, I think everyone should be required to use fluorescent light bulbs. I believe this would save a LOT of energy! Just changing one regular light bulb to a flourescent bulb can save you $30 in energy costs. I also learned that a flourescent light bulb produces 70 percent less heat than a regular bulb. I also read on http://www.energyquest.ca.gov/ that flourescent bulbs last ten times longer than regular bulbs. It's amazing how big of an impact flourescent light bulbs can have when we use them. I was reading an article on http://howstuffworks.com/ and it was saying that using flourescent light bulbs doesn't only help the enviorment it also helps us as people too! Flourescent lights use light that our eyes natually use and can reduce problems such as eyestrain. There are also many types of flourescent bulbs we can use ranging from household base, plug ins, and short linear bulbs. Even many businesses are changing to flourescent to save money on rising electrical costs. This would be a great idea for everyone to look into and it will help the earth and the people that live on it!

Genetics and Heredity

Everyone seems to think I look so much like my sister, but my sister says I look exactly like my mom. I don't look much like my dad at all. From my mom and dad I inherited free ear lobes which would be dominate and blonde hair from my mom which is recessive since my dad has dark hair. Both of my parents have hair on their fingers and that would be dominate also. I don't have a widows peak and neither does my father and that would be dominate. Neither of my parents have a cleft chin,or curly hair and I don't either so those would be dominate also. The recessive trait I got was no dimples.
